Hey there! Nice to meet you. I’m Rastagong!

I write visual novels as a hobby from time to time, mostly in the horror and mystery genres.

I’m not great at introducing myself, and I have lots of different interests, but you can read the very first post on this blog if you’re curious about the kinds of things you can expect here.

But in short, I like talking about & dissecting media, thinking about weird online subcultures & tech, anime and visual novels. You’ll probably find ramblings about gender, creative labour in digital spaces, being racialized & international solidarity because those are things that matter a great deal to me too.

I also maintain Lambdadelbot, a bot designed to help playing role-playing games on Reddit.

This blog is a static site generated using Pelican.

I designed it myself, taking a lot of inspiration from the Brownstone theme for Pelican, and reusing elements wholesale from the WriteMonkey “readability” theme.
